In all the rush of last week I didn’t do an update so I’ll include that in this one too… THANKS for a GREAT PASTOR’S APPRECIATION DAY! Lisa and I were both so touched and blessed! We love you guys so much!
Financial Peace University (FPU) started great last week and this week was another great night! The SMALL GROUPS are so great. I’m so amazed at the openness and honesty of everyone wanting to make a commitment to reach out and live debt free!
Our attendance today was strong with 250+! It looks like Easter this year will be a great opportunity for outreach and seeing God move in the life of our community. Try to get as many Postcards as you can to your friends and co-workers to invite them to Easter @thelanding: Love Is Here!
Worship this morning was great and there was a great special during Communion!
We are starting to use a “video” intro for introduction and announcements during the service. It looks like it will help us communicate better to our first time guests and visitors, as well as help announce upcoming events @thelanding…
If you haven’t noticed it yet, you’ll begin to see this alot - @thelanding
Its a great visual and reminder of events and happenings taking place “at The Landing”!

Sunday Highlights | 03.08.09

The highlights have been lagging so I’m going to make these a priority… they do help me process and unwind the service.
I hopefully people fully got the one point from the message yesterday. We are called to create disciples of Christ; not disciples of Christian culture! We are to fill our Bus! If you don’t understand that… listen to the message in the online area.
Sunday was a great day! Music was great, and there was a great time of ministry! The music was great too!
After the ministry time, we had 2 people rededicate their lives to Jesus! One was a little boy about 4, and the other was a lady who visited with us last week, and came back… thank God she was ministered to last week and she came back and dedicated her life to Jesus Christ!
Movie Night was ok. We didn’t really push it as hard, and we also showed the Dave Ramsey Preview video. A good time was had by all! (I love that phrase that I got from my brother-in-law!)
Workday: This coming Saturday - March 14th we are going to be having a workday at the church! Come out and let’s get the whole campus ready for spring and for a great Easter Service!
Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University begins March 22nd from 5:00 to 6:30 each Sunday night for 13 weeks! Its going to be a great time of learning Godly principles of stewardship. If you haven’t signed up yet, please do so this coming Sunday! There is an investment of $93 and you get a whole bunch of stuff for your monies.
Wednesday I’ll be continuing my series on “How To Handle Difficult People”, and I’ll also working on a Healing Is Ours series.
